Purchase the Ford truck and plan the upfit together. Exact configuration, availability and installed pricing are confirmed with your quote.
Ford vehicle applications
Choose a Ford to review chassis configurations. Body model, cab-to-axle, rear wheels and weight ratings must be checked together.
Read application notes
KBV cutaway planning applications: Ford E-350, E-450 and selected Transit cutaways. Match the exact wheelbase, CA, rear wheels, engine, body dimensions and weight ratings using the published table. The May 2022 brochure is a historical reference; current-model approval is required.
See how the body works
Explore access, storage and cargo space. Manufacturer reference photos may show optional equipment or a different chassis; each caption explains the example.

Cab-to-cargo access option
This brochure view shows the optional cutaway cab-access arrangement. Confirm the pass-through and cab interface for your E-Series or Transit cutaway.

Organize and secure the load
An example cargo interior with lining and horizontal cargo-control rails. These are optional configurations, not equipment automatically included in the base body.

Cargo-control rail detail
Multiple rail positions offer attachment locations for compatible cargo-restraint equipment. Confirm rail layout, hardware and load ratings with your quote.

Loading equipment to discuss
A brochure example of a rear liftgate. Liftgates are optional; capacity, mounting and available chassis payload must be reviewed together.
Enclosed cargo space built around your work
Carry equipment, parts and dry freight in an enclosed box body. Plan access, cargo securement and loading equipment around delivery routes, general construction, plumbing, electrical or HVAC work in Fort Myers and Southwest Florida.
Construction and storage choices
- Published sidewall choices: 0.040-inch aluminum or optional 0.5-inch fiber-reinforced plywood (FRP). Aluminum uses exposed interior posts; FRP offers a smooth interior without that framing.
- Pine shiplap flooring is listed for shorter bodies; laminated hardwood is listed for bodies 18 feet and longer.
- Steel floor side rails, reinforced rear corner posts, a rear threshold with a drain groove, and aluminum roof edging.
- Rear roll-up cargo door, grab handles, exterior LED lighting and interior LED illumination.
Features shown reflect the supplied May 2022 brochure. Confirm the current build specification and included equipment with your quote. Photos show reference configurations and may include optional equipment.
Options to discuss with our team
Ask about liftgates, cargo-control tracks, lining and scuff protection, interior shelves, side doors, step bumpers, translucent roofs, nose cones and upgraded flooring. Loading equipment, body weight and carried cargo must be included in the completed-truck weight review. Options depend on the chassis and body configuration.
KBV cutaway body sizes and access
The KBV family overview lists lengths from 10 to 17 feet. An optional cab-setback pass-through can provide access between a compatible cutaway cab and the cargo area. A cutaway is a different vehicle configuration from a completed cargo van, passenger van or conventional truck chassis cab.
Ford cutaway planning references
The May 2022 brochure lists Ford E-Series and Transit cutaway applications. It is historical planning information and does not establish fitment for a new model year. Confirm the actual chassis code, engine, rear wheels, wheelbase, cab-to-axle, frontal-area limits, GVWR, axle ratings, body width and height before ordering.
| Cutaway reference | Wheelbase (in) | Cab to axle (in) | Published body length (ft) |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-350 | 138 / 158 / 176 | 80 / 100 / 118 | 10–12 / 12–15 / 14–16 |
| E-450 | 158 / 176 | 100 / 118 | 12–15 / 14–16 |
| Transit, selected 138/156 WB cutaways | 138 / 156 | 82.5 / 100.2 | 10–12 / 12–15 |
Values in each row correspond in order. E-Series engine, axle ratio, GVWR and wheel layout affect the permitted combination; the listed range does not apply to every chassis. The brochure also includes 178-inch-wheelbase Transit HD rows with 14–18-foot body ranges, which differ from the 10–17-foot KBV family overview. We require manufacturer clarification before specifying those longer combinations.
Transit option restriction: The brochure excludes aluminum slide-out walk ramps on T-Series chassis. Some Transit combinations also require option code 15D and specified front corner radii. Do not carry a body width or height over from a different engine or chassis code.
Box-body questions
Can I buy the Ford truck and the body together?
Yes. Tell us about your cargo, route and loading requirements so we can plan the commercial vehicle and installed body together. We serve Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and surrounding SWFL communities.
Can I add a liftgate or cargo-control equipment?
Ask us to include these in your quote. Selection depends on the chassis, body, cargo and available weight capacity; optional equipment is not automatically included.
What does the price include?
Displayed upfit prices include professional on-site installation; tax is extra. The vehicle and optional equipment are separate unless included in your written quote. Availability and installation timing are confirmed with the quote, and purchases are completed in store.
Who provides the warranty?
Product warranty coverage comes from the product manufacturer, not Ford. Ask us to confirm the applicable coverage for the body and optional equipment.
