Knapheide Drop-Side Dump Body
A drop-side steel dump body for bulk materials, property maintenance and jobsite cleanup. Configure the hoist and body around the material you haul.
Purchase the Ford truck and plan the upfit together. Exact configuration, availability and installed pricing are confirmed with your quote.
Ford vehicle applications
Choose a Ford to review chassis configurations. Body model, cab-to-axle, rear wheels and weight ratings must be checked together.
Read application notes
Knapheide’s Ford dump-body brochure specifies Class 3–5 applications. We have not extended this match to F-600 or Medium Duty without manufacturer review.
Build around the work you do
Choose 12- or 16-inch sides in the published 9- and 11-foot body classes. Material volume and hoist capacity do not equal truck payload; dense loads can reach vehicle limits before filling the body.
Chassis and body fitment
Knapheide’s Ford dump-body brochure specifies Class 3–5 applications. We have not extended this match to F-600 or Medium Duty without manufacturer review.
| Cab to axle (CA) | Configuration | Body / model |
|---|---|---|
| 60 | Class 3–5 DRW chassis cab | 9 ft body class |
| 84 | Class 3–5 DRW chassis cab | 11 ft body class |
SRW means single rear wheel; DRW means dual rear wheel. Wheelbase is measured between axles; CA is measured from the back of the cab to the rear axle. A matching CA is one part of fitment, not approval of the complete installation.

Questions about this truck body
Does it fit every Ford Super Duty?
No. We check model year, pickup versus chassis cab, cab style, CA, wheelbase, rear-wheel configuration, frame and the body mounting drawing. GVWR, axle ratings and loaded weight must also meet the completed vehicle requirements.
What is included in the price?
Displayed upfit prices include professional on-site installation. Tax is extra. The vehicle, accessories and additional equipment are separate unless included in your written quote. Availability and installation timing are confirmed with the quote.
Who provides the warranty?
The product manufacturer provides the body and equipment warranty, not Ford. We identify the applicable manufacturer and warranty information for your selected configuration.
