Construction and storage choices

  • Published sidewall choices: 0.040-inch aluminum or optional 0.5-inch fiber-reinforced plywood (FRP). Aluminum uses exposed interior posts; FRP offers a smooth interior without that framing.
  • Pine shiplap flooring is listed for shorter bodies; laminated hardwood is listed for bodies 18 feet and longer.
  • Steel floor side rails, reinforced rear corner posts, a rear threshold with a drain groove, and aluminum roof edging.
  • Rear roll-up cargo door, grab handles, exterior LED lighting and interior LED illumination.

Features shown reflect the supplied May 2022 brochure. Confirm the current build specification and included equipment with your quote. Photos show reference configurations and may include optional equipment.

Options to discuss with our team

Ask about liftgates, cargo-control tracks, lining and scuff protection, interior shelves, side doors, step bumpers, translucent roofs, nose cones and upgraded flooring. Loading equipment, body weight and carried cargo must be included in the completed-truck weight review. Options depend on the chassis and body configuration.

KBT cab-chassis body sizes

The KBT family is listed in overall lengths from 10 to 28 feet. The full range does not fit every truck. For the selected F-350 through F-600 DRW examples below, the brochure lists 96-inch body width and 78- or 84-inch interior height. Certain longer F-650/F-750 combinations list 96- or 102-inch widths and taller interiors. Select width, height and length together using the exact chassis row.

Ford chassis planning references

Fitment reference, not current-model approval: The supplied brochure is dated May 2022 and its F-Series tables specify 2021 chassis. Use the examples below to start planning only. Our team must confirm the exact model year, cab, engine, rear-wheel layout, CA, wheelbase, frame, frontal-area limits, GVWR, axle ratings and loaded weight before ordering. GVWR is the maximum rated weight of the complete truck, not its available payload. Crew Cab and SuperCab configurations are not established by these Regular Cab examples.

Box-body questions

Can I buy the Ford truck and the body together?
